About the Unit

Yara Poland is a dynamic organization within BU Crop Nutrition Europe, active in Poland since 1991. Our main activity is distribution of main and premium offering fertilizer products for agriculture and horticulture. The company became a major supplier of fertilizers through its nationwide sales and distribution network. With focus on developing long-term partnership with farmers and producers, offering high quality products, supporting services and agronomic advice, the company has established a strong market position in Poland. Yara Poland’s competent sales-team and distributors are continuously meeting the farmers and growers to share information for correct handling and use of fertilizers making possible to combine profitable farming with care for the environment. To support our agronomy team in Poland, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Chief Agronomist Poland (m/f):


  • Organize the work of Agronomy Team (leadership, supervision, motivation)
  • Cooperate with Sales Team, Marketing, Supply Chain
  • Cooperate with Yara scientific research centers (Hanninghof, etc.) to share knowledge and experiences
  • Cooperate with local scientific institutes and agricultural academies
  • Advise customers on agronomic aspects of fertilization
  • Support product and brand development (ACTYVA NPK, YaraMila, YaraBela, YaraVita, etc.)
  • Supervise field trials and demonstration fields
  • Prepare agronomic content of brochures, leaflets, newsletters
  • Participate in all important fairs and exhibitions
  • Promote advice tools and services for agriculture and horticulture
  • Monitor new trends on the market


  • Degree in Agriculture with emphasis on agronomy, crop and soil management
  • Minimum 3 years working experience
  • Good leadership and decision making skills, team player
  • Desire to remain updated with new agricultural trends and technology
  • Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (valid driver’s license)
  • Speaking Polish and English fluently, further European languages are a plus
